Chronical obstructive pulmonal disease (COPD) is an uninfected disease which become a health problem of Indonesian. It is closely related with the rise of industrialization that has been one of the agents of COPD. This phenomena is become a responsibilities of all parties. Therefore, identification about employee?s knowledge about COPD is really needed. The objective of this study is to identify the knowledge level of the employees of cigarette manufacturer about chronical obstructive emphysema on Cigarette Manufacturer "X" on Malang Residence, with 104 respondents by using accidental sampling method. The type of this research is descriptive research by using questionnaire as a research instrument. After data have been checked according to researcher expectation, data being included on frequencies distribution table and do percentage. Based on the result, it is concluded that employee who have a good knowledge (11.5%), intermediate (38.5), less good (48.1%), and not good (1.9%). So that almost half of all respondents have a less good knowldege about chronical obstructive emphysema. This research is expected to be a recommendation for the cigarette manufacturer and a data for the government and health department to be followed up so that the mortalities caused by COPD will not be increased.
