- This research aims to determine the financial performance of oil palm companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2010 period and find out which companies are providing a better economic value. Based on this background that states that the rate of consumption of palm oil in 1980 until the year 2009 has increased the amount of consumption and production results when compared to other plantations, palm oil production also has the highest number. The highest net income of 2017 billion rupiah gained on PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, it can be hypothesized as follows That the financial performance of oil palm companies listed on the Stock Exchange or provide value-added healthy economy in the period 2008-2010 and the financial performance of the most healthy oil palm or the highest economic value added is PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. Engineering research is purposive sampling, and 6 oil palm companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The process of analyzing the first data to calculate NOPAT, Second calculate the cost of capital at a cost of equity using the DDM approach, then calculate the value of EVA. The results showed that there were two companies with negative EVA value and the four companies had positive EVA by 2008, and in 2009 a company worth EVA negative and five companies have positive EVA, and in 2010 there were three companies with negative EVA value and the three companies have positive EVA. Positive EVA indicates a healthy financial performance or add value for shareholders. Negative EVA indicates the company's financial performance is not healthy or do not provide added value for shareholders.
