- Cadre health as health promoter countryside has an important role in building healthy society self-supporting in Beji which is since 2007 pointed out as the Countryside Alertness. However, they never give such a significant activity to maintain their role. Thus, this research was conducting to identify the role of countryside alertness? cadre health in building healthy society self-supporting in Beji Junrejo Batu. This research is qualitative research that is indeed purposed to describe current issues in the world. The sample used in this research is 37 cadres health. Questioner is used as its method to gather the data. Result of data analysis shows that the role of countryside alertness? cadre health in Beji is sufficient, that is 63%. It is so, since 92% respondents have a good understanding to maintain their role as cadre health and are perceptive in facing the epidemics existing in that area. But there are also bigest factors in sustaining their role. The factor they have is that there is 68% result showing that the society lack enthusiasm for counseling and job devote. Finally, it is hoped that, to follow up this result, the cadre health are able to motivate the society in order to give their support in building healthy society.
