- Social economy status is one of health problem cause factor of tooth and mouth in family level. Family social economy status will influence nutrient status, access towards health service, and etc. Nutrient status depreciation or health service use depreciation will influence health status. One of them is health problem of tooth and mouth. This research aim is to identify the influence of family social economy status base on prosperous family stage towards health problem of tooth and mouth in children. This research design is correlation, population is students of SD I Muhammadiyah Malang as much as 210 students and taken as student as much as 64 students by using sample taking techniques of stratified random sampling. From 64 responders, belong to prosperous family in stage II as big as 57.14% with tooth and mouth is health as big as 17.2% and tooth and mouth indisposed as big as 39.1%. For prosperous family in stage III as big as 42.86% with tooth and mouth is health as big as 9.37% and that belong to tooth and mouth indisposed as big as 34.4%. By using statistics test non parametric correlation of chi-square with p value 0.412 so ho is accepted and hi is averse so that inferential lx there is no significant connection between family social economy status with health problem of tooth and mouth in children at SD 1 Muhammadiyah Malang on June 2009. From this research result is supposed to students with school side more pay attention the important of health problem of tooth and mouth.
