- Personal hygiene is individual efforts in takes care of their personal hygiene that cover of hair cleanliness, tooth and mouth, eye, ear, nail and skin. In the year 2010 supposed Indonesian people will achieve certain health level marked by the citizen that (1) will live in environment that well, (2) practice clean alive behavior and well, with (3) can to prepare and make use (to reach out for) certifiable health service, so that (4) has high health degree. Maintenance efforts and health enhanced necessary to be done early on (since school age), especially to embed behavior wells in children. School is institution designedly founded to build and increase human resource quality, physical good, and way of thinking, moral, also intellectual. Potential school as study place for student and vicinity society at health area up this moment until now still ignored. Health education that applied during the time evaluated not yet effective forming behavior with make alive grow cognizance wells among students. This research aim is to detect about fulfillment pattern of personal hygiene of state elementary school students at village Beji district Junrejo Batu about personal hygiene, hair, eye, ear, nail and skin of state elementary school students of SDN 01, SDN 02, and SDN 03 at village Beji district Junrejo Batu. Research kind that used in this research is descriptive. Sample that take as much as 70 samples that chosen by school side from SDN Beji 01 and SDN 02 and SDN Beji 03 at village Beji district Junrejo Batu. Research has done on 15 June s/d 18 June 2009. Based on research result inferential has found result that is respondent that has description of fulfillment pattern of personal hygiene like skin cleanliness, hair cleanliness, tooth cleanliness, eye cleanliness, nose cleanliness, ear cleanliness, and nail cleanliness with good enough criteria there are 60,5 %, good enough 29,3%, unfavorable 2,4% and not good 15,5%.
