Personal protection in an effort to prevent bird flu is very important because most people who are at risk of contracting bird flu is a poultry keepers themselves. Many people who lack the initiative to protect themselves from avian influenza virus because of people's knowledge about bird flu is still lacking. Therefore, researchers interested in studying with a view to exploring how public attitudes toward the business of poultry keepers to prevent bird flu. The research design used in this research is descriptive. The population in this study is the guardian of avian communities in RT 01, RW 07, Ngadipuro hamlets, villages Sumberjo, Sanankulon district, Blitar district with a total population of 30, the sample was taken from the existing population using total sampling techniques. Collecting data using a questionnaire and observasi.Dari result showed that the attitude of society towards the business of poultry keepers to prevent bird flu in which the majority (73.33%) did not support towards efforts to prevent bird flu, and a small portion (26.67% ) support to efforts to prevent bird flu. From these data can be taken to support the conclusion that the respondent against bird flu prevention efforts only a small portion.
