- A community of people who live around the factory have a high risk of health is threatened, because the environment is one factor that plays an important role in health problems. All sewage discharged directly into the environment can pollute the environment itself and the communities in these environments (Kristiana, 2003). This study aimed to identify the health status of people living in the cigarette factory environment on the respiratory system and cardiovascular system. This research is descriptive manifold with variable health status. The population used is the people who reside in a cigarette factory in Malang Bentoel totaling 58 respondents. The samples used were 34 respondents. Sampling techniques used to use a purposive sampling. This research was conducted in RT.06 / RW.02 Village Ciptomulyo Breadfruit Malang District. From the research, identification of hazardous materials exposure from cigarette factory on respiratory and cardiovascular systems in one last year found health status with a statement on the respiratory system Yes (72.06%), No (27.94%), with a statement on the cardiovascular system Yes (74.26%), No (25.74%). Identify the type of disorder has ever suffered by the communities surrounding the city Bentoel cigarette factory in Malang on respiratory and cardiovascular systems in one last year found health status with a statement on the respiratory system Yes (64.71%), not 35.29%, on the cardiovascular system with statement Yes (56.13%), No (43.87%). Given the health status of the research are expected to researchers who are expected to provide useful suggestions for the community, educational institutions, researchers and other researchers.
