- First aid action in accident (P3K) first aid that is given to someone who dispute accident consequence before handled by medical energy with target rescues soul, avoid dispute or condition mortally and speed up convalescence. First aid efforts to victim of traffic accident frequently wrong to be done by society. That thing exactly affect towards more the mortally bodily injury that suffered by the victim of traffic accident. Wrong action in help a victim of accident is caused by society who has less of knowledge about a manner and techniques for a true help to victim of accident. Aim from this research is to detect about society knowledge in first aid to victim of accident. This research have done at Road Street of Region Genengan Kec. Pakisaji Kab. Malang with 86 population and was using method of purposive sampling with sample 32 people and the data collecting technique by using questioner. This research result is concluded that opinion a large part society at road street of region Genengan district Pakisaji a little know about knowledge in manner of true helps to victim of an accident that is as much as 62,5%, society knowledge source about first aid manner to victim of accident a large part got from print/electronic media (newspaper, television, magazine) that is as much as 53,13% and do accommodation as according to knowledge as big as 50%, while society knowledge about preparation pre good hospital that is as much as 43,75%, in knowledge level about triage as much as 65,62% has good knowledge level and last about primary survey (airway, breathing circulation disability), found highest percentage as much as 37,5% has knowledge level good enough. Based on this research result, supposed to society to look for more knowledge about manner of true helps to victim of accident through health resort closest, or broader print/electronic media again.
