- Nutrition (nutrient) is an organism process using food that consumed normally through process of digest, absorption, transportation, storage, metabolism and substances expenditure is not used to defend life, growth and normal function from organs, with produce energy. But, nutrition input especially for advanced age still less noticed by society so that influential towards bowel pattern. Aim from this research is to detect about the connection of nutrition input towards bowel pattern in advanced age at RW 02 District Sumbersari Sub-Districts Lowokwaru Malang. Respondent in this research is numbers 68 of advanced age. This research is using qualitative research design with technique of data collecting by using questioner. Connection testing between nutrition inputs with bowel pattern is done by using simple linear regression test. Result has found that is respondent who has less nutrition input as much as 35 respondents (52%) from 68 respondents. Respondent who has bowel pattern is not good as much as 39 respondents (57%) from 68 respondents. Analysis result with Chi Square test has found that statistics of x2 count is bigger than x2 table (39,59 > 3,841) so that H0 averse it mean that found significant connection between nutrition input towards bowel pattern in advanced age. Based on this research result, to optimize good nutrition input and minimize the disturbance of bowel pattern is not both for advanced age, suggested in order to health energy or part that socialize about the important of nutrition input for advanced age to society to be more maximize the character by alive prosperity of advanced age in future time.
