- Baby and give of ASI on the breast are two affair inseparable. For baby, suckle on the breast is where a baby get milk from mother breast. At moment after childbirth, not many new parents persons especially mother is detecting identification method of suckle on the breast is like IMD(Early Initiation) now glow it has campaign. Mother and suckle on the breast is a person and first matter baby wants, therefore attitude and mother knowledge after childbirth of vital importance determine baby treatment. Mother knowledge about method of suckles on the breast like early initiation of vital importance. So, that author interested to do a research with the title. This research aim is to detect the mother abou method of early initiation. Research design that used reseach deasign of correlation. Sample at taken entire populations as much as 24 respondent. Sampling technics is purposive sampling. Methor of data collecting used quisioner. From data anlysis resilt and data interpretation is got lot responden age result mean is 28 years, education level SMP(50%), multipara(67%), with for stage C1(83,3%) with good vategory and stge C2(71%) with good category. The relation of age and knowledge level p value is 0,007, education and knowledge level p value is 0,001, and the relations of parity and knowledge level pa value is 0,002. With this resecarh existence is mother supposed can doing early initiation after childbirth, baby can get big benefit from gift ASI early. For village well-being energy can give elucidation about initiation method to early initiation in mother primipara also multipara, and for hospital can be input to make succesfull government program about early initiation.
