Rooming in is a treatment of newborn baby that is placed in a room together with their mother, so that easy to reach baby by the mother and one of the factor that influence in growth and normal baby development affection between baby and their mother is physiologically and physically. For that researcher wants to hold research about knowledge of post partum mother about Rooming in. This research aim is to detects about knowledge of post partum mother about execution of Rooming in. Design that used is descriptive explorative, with sample is taken from post partum mother at irna brawijaya of rsud kanjuruhan kepanjen. Sample total is 20 respondents, sample election is done with technique of accidental sampling. As to data collecting procedure by using kuisioner. Data analysis uses formula of and the result interpretated with sentence has quantitative 76-100% are good, 56-75% good enough and < 55 unfavourable. From this research result has found a description, almost entire of(85%) post partum mother has good knowledge about Rooming in. From data above can conclude that perception of post partum mother about Rooming in at IRNA Brawijaya of RSUD Kanjuruhan Kepanjen is good knowledge and researcher aims to give suggestion to the hospital to be more increase their service especially treatment of Rooming in.
