- Suicide is an action to hurt oneself in order to end life. Recently, this phenomenon frequently conducted by adolescent and children and it is interesting to discuss. Suicide action on adolescent is generally caused by prior psychosocial stressor (event that result in stress). Suicide trial is a behavior or action conducted by individual in order to hurt himself or herself or more, and usually conducted in un-deathly way and medium that give no fatal effect. In this case, the writer was curious to search more in observing adolescent etiology in committing suicide. This research is qualitative one using a case study method. The research subject consisted of 3 people (2 young female and l young male) in age of 13-17 years old. The method of data collection used deep interview and data validity used data triangulation with theory and other sources such as subject's close friend and therapist. In general, the research showed that suicide action on adolescent happen as result of problem with their parent, feeling of not being understood by parent, meaningless interpersonal relationship, and escaping from physical mistreatment, namely subject's disappointment toward parent behavior, parents' quarrel, torture by parents and betrayal of beloved spouse. It also happened as result of lack coping with problem by the subject that always runs to bad things. In line with suicide type, the subject VN belongs to Death Darers type while subject WD and ST belong to Death Seekers type.
