- Steganography is the art and science that studies how to hide a secret message into a media so that the existence of the message is not detected by other parties who are not entitled to that information. The fisrt user (sender) can send the media that has been inserted the confidential information via a communication public line so that it can be accepted by the second user (recipient). Message recipients can extract confidential information contained in audio digital file. In this thesis will discuss how steganography in audio digital media. Spread spectrum is a steganography method that inspired from the spread spectrum communication scheme, which transmits an information signal into a narrow band channel width spread frequency, it is useful to increase the redundancy level. The amount of redundancy determined by the multiplier factor called cr or spreader. The usefulness of this deployment is to add the bits message so that it becomes a message with bits long. The result from testing, obtained that wav file which inserted by scret of information cannot be detected by other who has not the right to the information.
