- The welding by using Submerged Arch Welding (SAW) method is welding that be used to joint weigh construction, such as bridge, line pipe and building. Wide that used this method because it may be carried out automatically and have high strength. The micro structure and welding strength is influenced/impacted by many factors such as composition of weld steel chemistry, input of fire, filler, flux and so on. The goal of this study is to analyze result of strength to material which be welded by using SAW weld with variation of Mn and Mo containing to different filler after it is done testing of pull thus with this testing will be known that mechanical characteristic (pull strength and integrity) to weld connection. In this study writer use API 5LX60 steel because API 5lx60 steel with 5L specification constitute specification which be standard by making convention and distribution from line pipe to oil, water and gas by special using
