- Decision Support System (DSS) is a computer-based information system that is used to assist decision makers in solving a problem that is not structured. In the implementation of this application the author aims to design and make the "Application Selection Decision Support Department at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang" by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) which is implemented into the programming language PHP. Method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method in detailing a complex situation, which is structured into one of its components. This means that by using the AHP approach we can solve a problem in decision making. The concept of AHP method is to transform qualitative values into quantitative values that are out decisions more objective. With the creation of applications is expected to provide solutions to problems that the selection of majors quickly, accurately and efficiently in accordance with the considerations.
