- Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a scenario for monitoring the network traffic, and control activities that are deemed suspicious and threatening the performance of a server. With the help of Snort application, the data packets that pass through the network can be monitored and can detect if there is an intruder who carried out attacks against the server. Snort will capture all incoming data packets and match with the Rule of Snort. If there are similarities then Snort will make detection of this type of attack. With the SMS Gateway, then an attack can be sent to the mobile administrator. With the help of SMS Gateway is also a message / command from the administrator can be executed by the server. And return the message to the administrator of a report. With this system are expected to assist and support the performance of a server administrator.
