- Nowadays the development of telecommunication is growing rapidly. One of them is mobile banking. Mobile banking allows a bank customer to conduct financial transaction via mobile phone. Finally, the author apply vigenere cipher algorithm on mobile banking application to secure customer data, that are not easy sotel by the intruder.Vigenere cipher itself is a classical crypthographic algorithm that uses the substitution technique in changing plaintext into ciphertext. On the application of data security for mobile banking transactions, using the java programming language that is J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) to run a java program on devices like cell phones.The conclusion that can be extracted from this Final Project is vigenere cipher can be applied to the security of mobile transactions bangking, supported by its length and the key used to scramble back KeyGenerator. Making it difficult for intruders to break it.
