- Through a computer networking, data security is very crusial element especially if the data is confidentialy secret or private. The Virtual Private Network technology is a technology that promotes a public network to performa sending of data transmission, in which many security systems are traped in problems of securing data, The Virtual Private Network technology?s provides more services in promoting data security. Virtual Private Network is always associated with protocol IPSec (Internet Protocol Security), an encryption protocol that provides secure transmission of encrypted data on computer network. One of the solutions in encreasing data security in computer networks with TCP / IP is to use IPSec. IPSec works by encrypting the data before it is sent automatically without any interference from sender. By using IPSec system, process of sending data will remain intactly starting from the delivery process until the destination delivery. By combination of VPN and IPsec system, it become the updated solution in delivering personal data packets.
