Osteoporosis or porous bone is a condition where bone becomes thin, brittle, and easy to break as result of decreasing bone mass because of age. The emerge of this disease is often unrecognized and it is found accidentally. Therefore osteoporosis is often called as silent killer disease. This researh is intended to know people?s knowledge level about osteoporosis in Sumbersari Village RT.11 RW.01 Lowokwaru Subdistrict Malang Municipality. Kind of research is descriptive research. Data analysis on variable of people?s knowledge level about osteoporosis in Sumbersari Village RT.11 RW.01 Lowokwaru Subdistrict Malang Municipality is by using persentage. This research uses purposive sampling, so that sample of 56 respondents is obtained. Data collection is by questionnaire. Collected data is analyzed so that it is obtained that people?s knowledge level about osteoporosis in Sumbersari Village RT.11 RW.01 Lowokwaru Subdistrict Malang Municipality is (71,4%) in medium category, (16,1%) in good category, (12,5%) in lack category, (0%) in poor category. To follow up the result of this research, people?s in Sumbersari Village RT.11 RW.01 Lowokwaru Subdistrict Malang Municipality should have better knowledge and understanding, and should seek information and learn to apply it in everyday life, mainly matter related to osteoporosis prevention which can be obtained through explanation by health officer and through information from printed and electronic media.
