- Technology Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a breakthrough in data communications over IP based networks. However factor in VoIP security is still vulnerable to the possibility of wiretapping. In this paper has achieved a system that can be used to secure VoIP communications. By using the technology, Virtual Private Networking (VPN) can be used to secure the route used, and cryptographic services provided by the protocol Encapsulation Security Payload (ESP) in IPSec-VPN so that good data that is sent or received can?t be tapped because of them encrypted with an encryption algorithm that is using DES, 3DES, AES, and Blowfish. With this experiment affected throughput value obtained from the algorithm itself, so it can be concluded that the appropriate encryption algorithm used by the network topology.
