- According and appropriate to development of science and technology and to welcome globalization era in various fields then nursery progress follows the age progression and more complex people demand. In health field Indonesia has established its vision, that is "Healthy Indonesia 2010" So Nursery field also must establish nursery standart, called Nursery Profession Standard. One of its characteristics is having body of knowledge and hich level education. This research has purpose to know factors behind the RST Nurse?s interest in continual nursery education. This research is advantageous for hospital as a policy basis for hospital to develop nurse profession. Research method used in this research is descriptive with population sample of nurses in RST Dr. Soepraoen Malang totaled 44 respondents. This research used quantitative score method. After the research has been donw, it is know that nurse?s interest in continual nursery education reaches the highest percentage (89,48%) with very good category.
