- Based on the data collected known that there are more than a thousand student having low GPA, some of them even got it since twosemester successively. Strive denominating have been done by UPT BK but only some students incoming to fulfill the call. Pursuant to the student’s confession known that there are many factors which causing students got lower GPA such as broken off with boy or girlfriend, busy, and even playing game. Based on these bases, the researcher conducts the research with aim to identify factors which is becoming student’s background to have low GPA. This research uses Survey method with amount of sample 102 student having low GPA during twosemester successively. The data collecting technique used by the researcher is Questionnaire. The data analyzing technique used is Percentage. The result of this research shows that the factor influencing low GPA is more incline at internal factor. This is because of 4 factors with highest percentage value (over ten percent) 3 among others come from internal factor. Those four factors are student less assiduous in doing his/her assignment, less conscious of the important of learning, effect of social intercourse, and also no suitability between students’s interest and major area taken.
