  • Technological advances grew rapidly this can not be separated from the development of human thought patterns that will accelerate the current era of rapid advancement. Human mindset that continues to grow, there is an attempt to create a new technology that will keep coming. The purpose of this research is to design a mechanical system-based robot or using AVR microcontroller that can be controlled remotely using a wireless medium in which during this wave of research on wireless robots is still limited to using RF waves. The research method used in the research methods (experimental design), that is through research and observation of the design tool made. The main purpose of this engineering work is made in order to create a robot that can be controlled remotely using a wireless wave media. The ultimate tool of this robot is a series of RS-232 serial communication using MAX-232 IC and module Xbee-Pro wereless 2,4 Ghz. Can be concluded that the minimum system is the AVR microcontroller via a serial communication circuit can be a link (bridge) between the module Xbee-Pro with the motor driver circuit to control the direction of motor rotation (robot actuators).
