- This research is conducted in the Cultural, Tourism, Youth and Sports Department in order to get a clear description about the explored problems, that is to know what kinds of promotion activities performed by the Cultural, Tourism, Youth and Sports Department in attracting the mountain tourists, especially in Wonorejo Dam. This research is descriptive research using qualitative approach. There are 4 informants in this research, they are: Chief of the Cultural and Tourism Department, Kasubdin of the Cultural and Tourism Department, Manager of program construction, and section of object, attractive power, and tourism. Informant determination technique uses purposive sampling technique, where the chosen sample includes persons selected on the basis of certain criteria created by researcher based on the research purpose. While, its data collecting technique is interview and documentation. Further, the collected data is analyzed by domain data analysis technique. Thus, it is obtained a thorough and detail description or explanation about the subject in this research. From the research results, it can be seen that the Cultural and Tourism Department of Tulungagung County is continuously attempted to empower its society and private parties in establishing a good cooperation to improve and to promote tourism assets in Tulungagung County.
