  • Video conferencing technology is the development of telecommunication services which can be exploited the user to remotely communicate with each other in video and audio in the form of packets over an IP network (Internet Protocol), where packets of data sent is experiencing compression in advance so that, to save bandwidth requirements are available, bitrate requirements and measurement parameters of QoS (Quality of Service) on video conferencing network that aims to determine whether performance on the network any good or not. In this thesis discusses the technology of video conferencing systems are simply built with its own network via the WLAN network (Wireless Local Area Network), which is on the network using SIP as the protocol used and H.264 as video codec in compressing data packets sent. In this final test system built by creating a server, 3 clients and the AP (Access Point) as a media device WLAN networks. In conducting the video conference communication, between the client beforehand to register an account on the server. After that, to make observations on the needs of bandwidth and bitrate used, and perform measurements on QoS parameters that occurs, among other measures the delay and throughput in the video conferencing network.
