Background: The concept of self is the way the individual in his personal view as a whole. In this regard one's self concept is not formed at birth, but learned as a result of one's unique experience.A person suffering from chronic diseases, such as diabetic gangrene, may cause anxiety and helplessness. Impaired self-concept is a problem that occurs in diabetic gangrene clients. But not all clients have the same self-concept disturbances. This can be influenced by several factors which can be categorized as follows: education, occupation, age and marital status. Methods: This study used cross sectional design. The population in this study were patients with diabetic gangrene in hospitals Kanjuruhan to be sampled by using total sampling technique.Retrieving data obtained from the questionnaire covered type dichotomi question. The data obtained were tested by Spearman rank test with the degree of significance P <0.05. Results: The data has been analyzed show the age factor with value 0.7604; factors work with value 0.683; education factor with a value of 0.663; factor of marital status with value 0.78. Conclusion: Factors affecting education on self-concept disturbances in diabetic gangreen client. Factor affects the work of self-concept disturbances in diabetic gangrene client. Factors influencing age of self-concept disturbances in diabetic gangrene client. Factors influencing marital status on self-concept disturbances in diabetic gangrene client.
