- Land use or conversion of agricultural land commonly called a lot going on in Java, not least in the Regional Malang, especially Landungsari village. The fertile agricultural land into a new purpose residential, industrial, and infrastructure greater extent when compared with field extension. It does not only reduce the area of productive land, changing the livelihoods of farmers, but also affects the domestic life of the community farmers or land owners. It encourages researchers to do research on the domestic life of the community farmers or land owners in the village Landungsari. For that in this study the researchers determine how the impact of conversion of agricultural land to rural households in the village life Landungsari?. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effects of agricultural land use on the lives of rural households in the subdistrict Landungsari Dau Malang. The concept in this research is the concept of before and after conversion of agricultural land. Based on this concept, the researchers conducted a study of the domestic life of the farming community or land owner in the village Landungsari before and after the conversion of the land to be able to answer the problem formulation that is. The approach of this research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Location of the study in the District Landungsari village Dau Malang, determination of study subjects use the technique purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used is social change theory of Herbert Spencer. Based on field data of agricultural land conversion resulted in a change of household living conditions of farmers or land owners, experienced by farmers in the village Landungsari. Impact of agricultural land use change is a change that occurs as a result of land use, in part or in whole functions farmland that serves as farmland into other uses that impact the lives of rural households are. Impact of agricultural land use on the lives of the villagers farm households were identified from an increase in monthly income, investment capabilities, business capabilities, and the ability to save. Conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural conducted by farmers who owned land in the village Landungsari an impact on domestic life in the village of Malang Landungsari.
