- Assimilation process between Togutil tribe with people around Koli village is a self-adjustment process with environment around them. Factors made social behavior change is government program, which is house development allocation especially for Togutil tribe, all needs courage and will in adjusting themselves with such new environment. The research purpose is describing social behavior change in Togutil tribes society in Koli Village Oba Sub-District Tidore City North Maluku Islands also to browse what factors caused social behavior change in Togutil tribe society. Theory approach used in this research is social behavior theory. B.F Skinner explains that all human behavior stated by rules, it can be predicted and can be brought into environmental control or controlled. Skinner also added that learning emphasized more into human behavior. Seeing individual as reactive creatures who gave responses to environment. Experience and maintenance will form their behavior. Research method used is descriptive with qualitative approach. Qualitative approach is used to get deeper data, a data with a meaning content. Research subject are people of Togutil tribe in Koli Village Oba Sub-District Tidore City North Maluku Islands. Informers stated are 10 people consisted of two custom figures, two religious figures, and 6 public figures. From data achieved, it can be said that social behavior change in Togutil tribe society are: marriage system, funeral process, clothing process, cooperation, modern tool usage, social interaction system, education, living, belief or religion. It is influenced by several factors. They are population, economy factor, religion factor, education factor, social interaction factor, government factor, information technology factor, and environmental factor. All those changes happened from social environment so that it influenced social behavior in society.
