- Internet has been decreased the limited of distance and time. nowadays, employees that have gone faraway from their office do not need to get back to his office for just taking some data that stored in office database. by connected the office's databases to the internet, employees that also connected to the internet could download those data directly from their computer. When the employee could download the data from the office database, then enable everyone else could download it. therefore, must be made a way in order that another people that have an intention on it cannot download, change or delete that important data. VPN is the answer of that problem. on this research, the writer will make and implement a virtual private network using a PPTP protocol that work at OSI Layer 2 as the enkapsulate of data also tunneling using MikroTik RouterOSTM as the development platform.
