- Information technology is one technology that is growing rapidly at this time. With the advancement in information technology, access to the data or information available can take place quickly, efficiently and accurately. This study aims to provide a picture of a model of academic information system that is displayed in the form of websites. With this application, the public can easily access information about SMA Negeri 7 Kediri. In addition students and parents facilitated the students to access academic information consisting of values, attendance, and student administration reports that payments can be accessed wherever and whenever they are on-line. The application is built using web-based programming language PHP and MySQL as basisdatanya. In the making, this application tailored to the needs. At the beginning of the work carried out needs assessment for an academic information system, so that the provision of information can be done with web-based applications. Academic Information System applications can be used as a tool for users of information providers, both for the teachers, staff, students, parents and the wider community wherever and whenever they are. Users get all the information complete and accurate because the information available constantly updated. This application will be much better if equipped with data security a higher and adding a module to organize the display layout of the website.
