- Poverty culture grows in Indonesia caused distraction in people’s wealth, it is supported by the raising amount of street-performed-beggar, especially in Malang City. Those street-performed-beggar consisted of children to adolescents. Researcher has intention to describe poverty culture in street-performed-beggar of Landungsari Bus Station in Dau sub-district Malang According to the background above, statement of problem in this research is, how poverty culture in street-performed-beggar in Landungsari Bus Station of Malang City. The research aimed to find out and describe about poverty culture happens to street-performed-beggar, especially in Landungsari Bus Station of Malang. The research location is in Landungsari Bus Station of Dau sub-district Malang. The research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection method is done by observation, interview, and documentation. As research analysis frame, it is supported by Poverty Culture sociology theory by Oscar Lewis According to the research about poverty culture in street-performed-beggar of Landungsari bus station of Malang city, researcher found five poverty culture characters in street-performed-beggar. First of all, social structure they had is separated from general social structure, thatÂ’s why they arenÂ’t able to use or utilize facilities provided by social structure in wide-society. Social participation and interaction in society is lack or less effective. The second, unstable family life, children who grow to fast because of lack learning and playing time. The third, debt and mortgage behavior to fulfill their daily life. Fourth, apathy, give up or just being fool, love to demand or receiving charity, but in the other side, also shows rebellion attitude and egoistic. Fifth, has no saving account, has no plan for tomorrow, which is far out of reach, the important thing is today, direct practice can be used to fulfill their daily needs
