- Globalization gives change, especially among adolescent. Lifestyle in Islamic boarding school (Pondok Pesantren) with adolescent outside Islamic boarding school definitely different. Life in Islamic boarding school is limited by norms stated by Islamic boarding school, and in the same time, globalization also gives new room to reinterpret the norms. It happens to female Islamic students (Santriwati) who live in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic boarding school, Sumenep Regency, Madura. This research tried to explain about Female Islamic Students (Santriwati) lifestyle in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic Boarding School (Study in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic Boarding School Guluk-Guluk subdistrict, Sumenep Regency, Madura)”. The statement of problem is how the Female Islamic Students (Santriwati) lifestyle in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic Boarding School. The research uses descriptive qualitative method by with research location in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic Boarding School Guluk-Guluk subdistrict, Sumenep Regency, Madura. As research subject, there were 30 female Islamic students in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic boarding school. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. Data processing technique uses qualitative descriptive. Theory uses is phenomenology theory of Alfred Schutz. According to the research, it can be concluded that lifestyle change happened to female Islamic students in pondok pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic boarding school are: Female Islamic studentsÂ’ language style, performance or fashion, accessories worn by female Islamic students in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic boarding school, listening music in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic boarding school, and female Islamic studentsÂ’ courtship in Pondok Pesantren Annuqoyah Islamic boarding school environment
