  • Ylang flower essential oil industry in the creative industries Blitar is developed by the community Blitar. In the industry that is able to penetrate foreign markets, there are systems of social networks that form the community of the essential oil industry players ranging from Farmer ylang flower, ylang flower collectors, local traders ylang flower, essential oil refiners, Middlemen and Exporters of essential oil to the market abroad. Among the members of this community there is a pattern of ties linking members of the community objective of essential oils, there is also a relationship between actors in the network structure that has access to valuable resources (wealth, power, information), there is a pattern of ties between flower growers, flower collectors and interest that although refiners are not strongly bound and do not fully meet the requirements of the group, but they are interdependent with each other. But social networks are formed can be said is still not profitable of all components in the system of community social networks essential oils. Price becomes an important issue in the social network community system of essential oils, the prices tend to fluctuate impact on the morale of the industry players. Essential oil industry players to be disloyal in developing its business because the results become erratic. The purpose of this study was to determine the form, function and contribution of social networks for communities of essential oil industry in Blitar. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by taking the subject of the research community of the essential oil industry, amounting to 7 people, ranging from Farmer ylang flower, ylang flower collectors, local traders ylang flower, essential oil refiners. Techniques of data collection in this study is observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Theory used in this study is the theory of Social Networks. The study concluded that the essential oil industry in the form of a social networking system that consists of community essential oil industry, in which they are bonded with each other. If a component such as ylang flower farmer who is at the lowest social structure does not go well it will affect the performance of all components in the essential oil of the community, be it a flower farmer ylang, ylang flower collectors, local traders ylang flowers, distillers essential oils, broker, and
