- Background writing within the meaning of research services for Indigenous Modern Reflexology is based on the Modern lifestyles of modern society is increasingly diverse and the flow is rapidly increasing industrialization, and the phenomenon the authors take is that there is going on in the Mall Olimpyc Garden, where modern society prefer to use reflexology services that are in the mall for the purpose of research to find out who owned ole meaning of each individual. To see the significance of the services that the modern concept of reflexology, the researchers reviewed the concept of literature on modernization, modern society, the negative and positive impacts of modernization, the needs of modern society and the tendency of modern society to choose modern reflexology services are located in the region mall as a reference point to maintain health. The research method used in this study is to determine the type of research uses descriptive qualitative approach, determine the location of the research that is in the Mall Olimpyc Garden lt. 3 Jl. Kawi no.24 Klojen District, Malang. Then the research subjects are reflexology service users who are in MOG region. Sources of data through primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data through observation, interview and documentation. Then the latter with data analysis by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman Interactive. The results obtained in these studies is that there are several different meanings of each subject. The first meaning is the comfort, the second is as a means of retreat, the third is a place to gather with colleagues, meaning the fourth is as a means of medical therapy, and the meaning of the latter is as a place to keep the prestige. The difference in the meanings of those affected on the basis of symbols derived from reflexology so that individuals will take action. Meanings are derived from the understanding as well as views and experiences perceived by the subjects when using reflexology services so that the meaning of terms that appear in them that will affect the meaning of their societies and through the interpretations they will take action. With the meaning that they have that they can eventually take action where such action is choosing to use reflexology services that are at the mall
