- Belt conveyor is one of the material handling equipment in the industry. It can be used to transport cement, coal and others. Conveyor belt capacity depends on the kinds of belts, motor power, distance transport area, the material to be in transport. As a case study, New Krebet PT PG II Malang has a conveyor belt 85.16 tons per hour capacity to transport the fuel that is not used for boiler fuel. The purpose of this study was to determine the real capacity and speed of the conveyor belt in the field and analyze the influence of what if some differences emerge. of the existing design firm PT Krebet New PG II Malang, wants to increase the capacity of the existing conveyor to meet the needs of increased production capacity in 2017. transport capacity desired by PT PG Krebet New Malang is to meet the production target of 150 tonnes per hour capacity. it will be necessary to meet the target of a new calculation of the transport conveyor in 2017.
