- Demands of a diverse variety of products based on differences in consumer demand, resulting in increased development of technologies in the manufacture of prototypes. This design seeks to provide convenience to the steering system, especially at Kijang KF 40 by adding the power steering. Variations include the testing of in-put style on the steering wheel with a fixed diameter, the acquisition of out-put style at the end of the tie rod and the acquisition time or speed of response style. These parameters will be tested in the round power steering pump fixed. There are 2 types of types of power steering is recirculating ball type rack and pinion and type. In this type of design used power steering rack and pinion is a type. The flow of fluid flowing in the circuit of the power steering pressure losses that would cause the difference in pressure at the pump and the hydraulic cylinder. Given the pressure loss, the power used to reduce the burden of steering the less, this led to a reduction in force on the gear and pitman arm that will affect the steering wheel.
