  • The PANDANDURI Dam it self has the function to support High Levels of Diversion systems (HLD). Construction of the dam is expected to meet about 60 thousand hectares of agricultural land stretching from west to east NTB. Besides the direct benefits to provide water for irrigation, Pandanduri dam have indirect benefits such as can reduce flood discharge in the river downstream of the dam ( peak discharge 1517.94 m3 / s to 1,170 m3 / sec )discharge and be able to improve people's lives around of dam through the development of inland fisheries, and supporting the development of tourism sector in East Lombok. In addition to increasing agricultural production, dams can also be used for hydroelectric power (hydropower) or as a flood control area. The design goal is to get the construction of sluice gates in accordance with the conditions of PANDANDURI Dam. In designing this portion of the data has been obtained in accordance with the actual conditions. And from the calculations that have been done in the design of sluice working at a depth of 30,75m below the water surface, with high door 3,50 m wide and 3,50 m obtained the forces at work, namely the hydrostatic force tf416,16 the calculation of the strength of materials and dimensions are already attached, so that the material used is known material SS 400, 1200 kgf/cm2 permission Tarok voltage, as well as shear stress 700 kgf/cm2.
