- The existence of the tourism industry in the town of Batu, impact on changes in the surrounding community, namely the desire of people to open or establish their ownindustry in order to increase revenue and meet the needs of everyday life. For example, the number of lodging such as Villa and Hotel is located in the town of Batu.Tourism is not only about economic issues alone. Tourism is also closely related (oroften associated) with a variety of social ills such as prostitution or prostitution, even inareas of tourism Songgoriti also has become one of the nodes in the map sex tour,this is proven by the practice of prostitution in these villas. This has led researchers to study more about the practice of prostitution that exist in the villas Songgoriti into the form of research. To see the meaning of the practice of prostitution for the villa managers, researchersformulate the problem of how the meaning of the practice of prostitution for the villamanager. In this study the research subject is the manager of villas in Songgoriti. File collection technique is to use observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used is symbolic interaction theory of Herbert Blumer, and the theory of Paul Ricoeur Hermeneutics. In Herbert Blumer Symbolic interaction theory rests on three premises that is, the first premise which states that the man was acting on the "meaning". The second premise, with the knowledge and experience of the informant to the result of interaction within the community that affect the meaning which they generate and through an interpretation of them from doing any act. The third premise is the point through a process of interaction can improve the knowledge and experience possessed by the informant about the meaning of prostitution in the Provinces Songgoriti villa. And through the concept of the meaning of the subjects obtained Ricoeur interpretation based on experience, history and historical of research subjects. Meaning obtained is: To motivate the visitors, as the process of fulfilling the needs of tourists, can provide benefits, causing social inequality, and abuse in community action.
