- Life always kept berkembang. kecanggihan world of science and technology is not likely inevitable in the life of society. With the grater mesi household scale with a capacity of 50 kg / hr is capable of supporting the community work that feels light on the work done by the community. Thus employers do not have to worry about ballooning budget due to the production process in terms of the support material. The method used in this design is the order of Pahl & Beitz literature study, calculating the capacity of the machine, grater, motor power, pullay and belts, shafts, and bearings pegs. With the above method calculation results obtained include shaft diameter of 30 mm with a length of 335 mm, for a transmission system using a V - belt and pulley, where the V - belt used type A (1 piece). Selected power 1 HP electric motor with 700 rpm rotation .
