- n the development of human life and civilization, the forest became widely used to make ends meet. Forest use is done in a manner and intensity vary widely, ranging from the use of not much affect the condition of the forest climax to the action giving rise to striking changes in forest composition. Which became permasalhan in this study is how the Community Participation In Forest Security System Implementation. The purpose of this research is to investigate and portray on Public Participation in the Implementation of Security Systems in Forest TN.BTS. While the benefits of the research are expected to provide the best and as a conceptual contribution to the development of Forest Science and Forestry Sciences particular add knowledge in the field of forestry and to get references for this article and can be used as literature for students of forestry, especially for students or researchers who will conduct similar research. The method used in this research is a method of PRA (Paticipatory Rural Appraisal) data collected with the use of questionnaires, which is a list that contains a series of questions about certain things aimed at obtaining the desired data by researchers. These data are the answers of the respondents who are the objects of research. Of this research note that the results of research conducted to measure and determine the form of participation of the community, particularly regarding implementation of forest protection system. So in the process of analyzing the data, the authors combine theory with the data field based on the findings of the research focus. While the conclusions of this study are: a) obtain the participation of the community, the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, interacting with villagers buffer. b) Therefore, the TN.BTS must have a solution, so that what is expected to be achieved as planned. c) The participation of villagers buffer area of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, acquired the TN.BTS, because the community has been involved in forest protection activities.
