  • Plate of flimsy steel very is difficult jointed to use electrics welding and of asitilien welding . Friction Stir Welding ( FSW) represent method of welded which relative still just, found by year 1991 in The Welding Institute. Welded method of FSW exploit hot energy which yielded by friction of tool rotatory with surface of plate making material become plastis. Its target of this experiment is to know the method of welded of FSW, finding speed and rotation of shoulder appropriate to joint plate become militant formed cold thick 1 mm and know parameter relation speed of rotation and weld of shoulder to strength of extension of weld. In this experiment, welding speed of used that is 5 mm / men and 10 mm / men, while rotation of shoulder that is 1000 Rpm, 1700 Rpm and 2000 Rpm. Of experiment not yet can relation showed speed of rotation and las of shoulder because of temperature effect of friction don’t reach 80% from yield point become militant 1500oC. So that result of extension fail to, from all extension result of interesting test of maximal interesting strength showed equal to 0,115 N / mm2 at rotation 1700 Rpm, speed of las 5 m / men.
