- Chicken meat is one that holds an important role in meeting the nutritional needs of humans. As with meat in general, chicken is a good source of protein and can easily be damaged easily polluted, and can act as a medium of transmission of the disease to the consumer. to keep the chicken meat is not easily contaminated and damaged the chicken meat put in freezer. Refrigeration is a process taking heat from a substance or space which causes a lower temperature to their environment. cooling chicken can suppress the growth of microorganisms that can impair the quality of fresh meat so the meat damage caused by microorganisms can be slowed and fresh meat quality can be maintained for a long time. Cooling machine is designed for a capacity of 100 head of chicken meat in a box with dimensions are 1700 m long, 1530 mm wide and 810 mm high, and to the outside dimensions of the box is 1791 mm long, 1621m m wide and 901mm high the required compressor power 0.2390 KW, long evaporator pipe 19 m, long pipe condenser 22.32 m, and expansion valve used is the expansion valve thermostatically.
