- Wastewater tapioca produced from productoin proces of flour tapioca, from raw materials to wash the starch separation process of water or deposition process. Tapioca starch wastewater has carbohydrate and glucose, in the presence of the carbohydrate content is allowed to be used as a feedstock for ethanol production. Tapioca starch wastewater have as much carbohydrate content 8.14% and 1.72% glucose. The existence of the carbohydrate content makes it possible to be used as a feedstock for ethanol production. Separator tool is a technique to separate the ethanol solution into each component. Principle of Separation Equipment Ethanol is based on differences in boiling point component substance. Ethanol Separator tool can be used to purify compounds having different boiling points so it can produce compounds that have component high purity of the ethanol dividing tool covers, Destillation, plumbing, Condenser, and tube container Ethanol. Work process is designed with a capacity of 75 liters / h 10 hours with dimensions destillation 3.8135 m2, and the amount of heat load 1736.370848 kj / s. While the overall heat tranfer coefficient obtained 19.06416137 W/m2 oK dimensional 0.021336 mm diameter condenser pipes with a length of 20 m pipe with lots of winding 13.
