  • Gum P. merkusii Jungh et de Vriese is a prima donna who has a big contribution in Perhutanioffice income, but in fact the implementation of pine resin tapping experiencing economic obstacles as well as the physical condition of the field, and therefore needed a reliable and professional people in the field who are able to face existing problems (Anonymous, 1997). Efforts to increase the amount of latex production P. merkusii Jungh et de Vriese gained a lot of research, for research on the analysis of latex production at different heights after sap obtained observations of different magnitude. To plant P. merkusii different altitude will affect the amount of sap produced. Therefore, this study was conducted to know the other factors affecting the production of pine sap, among other factors umu and soil fertility. The research was carried out in the region of RPH Oro-oro Ombo BKPH Pujon KPH Unit II Malang, East Java. What research is at plot 228 b planting year 1999, the year of planting plots 230 b 219 d 1994 and plot elevations where planting year 1988 ± 1000 to 1200 meters above sea level with an average rainfall of 2000 mm per year. The research was conducted in March througt May 2012. The methods used are 1) preparation, this stage includes the preparation of materials to be used and the manufacturing unit of the map area (SPL) to get an overview of the study area and used as a basis for determining the point of observation, and study of the literature on the theme to be lifted . 2) Sampling. At this stage conducted soil sampling at each observation point in each age class trees at the site of the research conducted at a depth of 0-30 cm composite, taking on every tree sap observed. 3) Analysis Laboratory. Examples of land already acquired, analyzed according to laboratory variables were observed in soil chemistry. The data obtained were analyzed regression and correlation, to determine the closeness of the relationship between the age of the stand and the availability of macro nutrients with the other variables tested observations correlation and regression test performed to determine the effect of macro nutrient availability and age of the stand. The results of the study was the relationship between soil fertility status and age stands against latex production P. merkusii Jungh et de Vriese, there is a difference heavier sap P. merkusii Jungh et de Vriese on age class (KU) are different. The higher the grade the greater weight of the sap of life. N, P, K has a significant effect on weight of pine resin, the higher the value of N, P, K the higher weight of pine resin.
