PENGARUH KONSENTRASI DAN LAMA PERENDAMAN ZPT IBA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN STEK PUCUK TANAMAN JATI (Tectona grandis Linn. f.)

  • Keywords: teak, ZPT IBA, solution concentration, and length of immersion. Teak plants (Tectona grandis Linn, F.) representing annual crop, which have very economic product value. Indole-3-Butyric Acid (IBA) looked to be more practical from type of auxyn (IAA) and very effective in initiation grows on and stimulate growth of leaf and bar. IBA in form of white chromatic flour or crystals coalescing is where showing a reaction of having characteristic of other inorganic compound. Intention of this research is to know how many concentration and length of effective immersion to cutting of tip of teak in condensation of ZPT IBA. Research executed in December 2011 up to March 2012 and has location in center of research and development (PUSLITBANG) Perum of Perhutani of Cepu, Middle Java. Materials, which used in this research is topsoil, sand, compost, fungicide, nematicida, fertilize SP 36, water, ZPT (IBA), teak tip cutting. Appliance which is used in this research is paper, paper scissors, scissors clip, cutter, transparent polybag, pail, water pipe, analytic weighing-machine, desiccators, spade, label, spray gembor, hoe, cutting immersion basin, spidol, sprayer, sieve media, root induction shed. Used research device that is random device of group (RAK) compiled factorials, what consist of two factors that is: solution concentration factor of ZPT IBA and length of immersion. Obtained data to be processed by using manner analysis. Then if there is any a real difference, hence continued with test of Duncan at level 5%. Do not happen interaction at treatment of solution concentration of ZPT IBA (L) with length of immersion (M) at all of observation. At treatment of solution concentration of ZPT IBA happened influence very real at observation of percentage of life, amount of root and length of root, while at observation of wet weight and dry weight do not happened real influence. Treatment of solution concentration of ZPT IBA best there is at concentration 20 ppm ZPT IBA (L2). At treatment of length of immersion do not happened real influence at all of observation except, at observation of amount of root is happened real influence. Treatment of length of immersion is best 20 minute (M2).
