- Microhydro Power Plant (MHP) is essentially harness the potential energy of water (falling water). The higher the falling of water (head), the greater the potential energy of water that can be converted into electrical energy. Plantation Kalirejo, Banyuwangi regency is one part of the PTPN XII passed by Kalirejo River. This river has the potential power. While this potential hydropower possessed by the river Kalirejo not been utilized optimally. Kalirejo River has a depth of 0.37 m, width 3.5 m, the average discharge per year ʒ 0.679 mʒ/s and a high water fall (head) 12.5 m from the data is designed micro hydro power plant (MHP) Turbine type Francis with power generated at 71.77 Kw is used for production processes and housing plantation Kalirejo.
