- Distillation or distillation is a process of evaporation condensation followed. Distillation done to separate the liquid from the mixture when the other components do not come evaporate. The process of distillation is a process of refining alcohol. Alcohol is a chemical that is produced from raw materials such as starch mangandun crodp cassava, sweet sago jalardan usually called bioethanol. Alcohol has a boiling point of 78 oC while the water 100 oC. Therefore when heated alcohol will evaporate first from the water. In the alcoholic fermentation of 10%, a simple distillation process at a temperature of 79-82 oC will result in 40-45% alcohol content. Alcohol 40% is an in distilled again would result in levels of 60-70%. So to raise the alcohol content to 95% and above required repeated distillation. The point is a liquid that contains alcohol when heated will produce steam that contains alcohol richer than when the liquid is caused by differences in boiling point. With this principle, if we can make a liquid containing alcohol evaporates, then melted, then yawned again, and then melted again, and so repeatedly in a single series of processes in one tool, the same alcohol produced has undergone a series of distillation repeated. This means we can summarize a few times distillation process in a process that is much more efficient and produces a more pure alcohol. That storied distillation effect resulting from this tool.
