- The high price of beef and a lack of purchasing power would require butchers meat should be more creative in marketing. One of them is by selling processed meats such as meatballs. This form of meat products processed frozen meatballs are ready to be used / consumed. Even cooked meat meatballs will be quickly damaged if placed open air and at room temperature for meat meatballs without using preservatives in the manufacturing process. In addition, because bacteria and microorganisms that can grow faster at a temperature of room space and in humid conditions. From the above description then designed a cooling machine that can carry 200kg beef meatballs. The planned size of the cooling chamber there; was as follows: length 2 m, width 1m, and height 0.8 m. From the calculation results obtained by the maximum load of 394,5 W, TR equal to 0.1122 Ton refrigerant, the refrigerant used is R-22. The components used include: condenser fins with a length of 0.116 m, 0.345 m fin height, thickness 0.001 m, copper pipe material, pipe length is 0.365 m, material of copper pipe with a length of pipe is 33,0094 m. After assessment and calculation of the resulting a cooler that can be used to store the material processed beef (meatball), which is relatively safe in use because all the components used are designed and measured and tailored to the needs of the community and environmentally friendly.
