  • Mathematics is a definite knowledge and can be applied directly in life. Cooperative learning have positif impact and effective to increase students achievement in learning mathematics. TPS(Think-Pair-Share) is one of model in cooperative learning. The purpose of this research is to know students activities, teachers activities, the achievement and students respond in learning mathematics through cooperative learning. The subject of the research is the students in 8th grade-E SMP Muhammadiyah 08 Batu in academic years 2012-2013. Based on the data analyze, shown that the teachers activities observing in cooperative learning mathematics type TPS(Think-Pair-Share). Obtained average score 83.92% of good category in scoring teachers activities. The result of the observing to the students activities in cooperative learning mathematics type TPS(Think-Pair-Share). Obtained average score 78.18% of good category in scoring students activity. Achievement of students learning to cooperative learning mathematics type TPS(Think-Pair-Share) in equalism straight line material increase and effective obtained average score 85.71% is very good category in scoring students achievement.
