Than the condition needed a method to overcome the problem. Six Sigma pass 5 operational phase, DMAIC (Define - Measure - Analyze - Improve - Control), expected can find cause and also correct solution so that happened the make-up the quality of production process. Phase of Define done definition of product becoming object that is chair eat. Phase of Measure using diagram of pareto obtained four critical defect type which become problems that is defect type wood break, barst wood, damage wood, and wrong cut. Phase of Analyze identified defect causes using causality diagram. Phase of Improve and of Control with 5W-1H and action plan and appliance control obtained repair alternative at process good to wood handicap break, barst wood, damage wood, and wrong cut. After evaluate result implementation of alternative repair that is by 5W-1H method. Obtained the amount of handicap early pursuant to critical quality equal to 59 defect and level sigma early equal 3,58 and after implementation repair defect amount pursuant to critical quality go down to become 47 defect and sigma level equal to 3,68.
